New Monster!
Our second SPN1-to-progenitor collaboration was revealed last week – Sarcosteon ! If you think you knew all about him before, you should really check out his official final powers, backstory, and movement style – you might be surprised!
Help CKC become the best it can be!
CKC just keeps getting bigger & bigger – but that just means we need more and more help from those of you with time & energy to invest! Here are some top things you can be doing to help:
- Play CKC on Steam, with other people. This is the #1 most important thing any of y’all can be doing right now, so please take 20 minutes each day to get online and find a few matches!
- Post in the forums (both the main forums and the Steam discussion group) about the CKC video game. Ask for changes, rave about sweet features, submit complaints – all discussion is good. I know there are a lot of other things to talk about, but the video game needs to be a visible topic as much as possible!
- Submit Bug Reports. The bug database link is in the CKC main menu, and it’s really the best way to provide feedback. Please use it!
- Get other folks to play! We’ve added more than 4,000 new players in the past few weeks – but that’s no excuse to slack! Get your fighting-game fans to play CKC. Thebundle is still on sale for the next two weeks – so this is the best time to bring on fresh blood!
- Community Poll! With the growth and evolution of CKC we want to hear more from people. Check out our poll thread and leave your opinions so we can know more and make CKC bigger and better.
Game update!
Because of our reduced engineering support, we are reducing our build frequency to one a week, instead of twice, for the rest of October. Please check out our public Trello boards for Engineering Tasks and Character Tasks to keep a close eye on our daily progress! And check out our bug database to see what we’re getting fixed! You can also view the latest patch threads in the forum.
Engineering Fixes:
- New login system & new account creation system implemented.
The login system has changed quite significantly. The old system required players to log in manually with their forum username & password – which would then be remembered.
The new system looks at your steam account, and automatically logs you in, if that steam account is connected to your forum account! We’ve also got a manual “log out” button implemented.
(If you created your account via “login with steam” – your accounts are already linked.)
